This interactive workshop introduces PhD students and postdoctoral scholars to the Memorable Moment Method (MMM). Rather than focusing on polished self-promotion, the workshop helps participants identify a single, meaningful moment from their research, teaching, or professional lives and shape it into a clear, grounded narrative. Through guided writing, small-group sharing, and interview practice, participants learn how to articulate motivation, judgment, and growth with specificity and confidence. The workshop is designed for academic, industry, and alt-ac interviews, and is especially supportive of scholars navigating high-stakes professional conversations without relying on rehearsed or generic answers. The session offers scholars a way to be remembered not for how much they say, but for how precisely they speak.
